About the Role: Become a vital member of our small, agile engineering team and contribute directly to Ukraine’s frontline defense. You will architect and develop AI systems for advanced military acoustic reconnaissance with significant autonomy to create real-world solutions for edge devices. Your work will have a tangible impact on strengthening Ukraine’s defensive capabilities.
What You’ll Do: * Design, implement, evaluate, and optimize ML/DL models for acoustic detection and classification tasks * Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for model training and evaluation * Write modular, testable code for preprocessing, model inference, and automation tasks
What You Need: * Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field * 2 + years of professional Python experience in ML/DL production applications * Hands-on expertise in designing, training, and integrating ML systems into production * Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Lightning, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas * Strong analytical and communication skills * Proactive mindset, ability to experiment, and experience in startups, hackathons, or research projects * Good technical English
Nice to Have: * C/C++ experience (especially valuable for our next-generation system) * Background in audio domain or signal processing
