We are looking for a Senior DBA Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team. If you’re passionate about database performance, reliability, and automation — this might be your next career step. What You’ll Do * Manage and support Relational and NoSQL DBMS across the full product lifecycle — from development to high-availability production environments. * Maintain and optimize MySQL (MariaDB) — or at least PostgreSQL — database clusters. * Set up and manage database servers, load balancers, and related infrastructure with a focus on performance, availability, and security. * Participate in on-call rotations, providing real-time incident response and full problem resolution. * Proactively streamline and automate routine database operations. * Assist developers in query tuning, schema design, and troubleshooting. * Handle data migrations across database platforms. * Support release deployments and conduct scheduled maintenance.
What We Expect * 5+ years of experience managing high-load, mission-critical MySQL databases in production. * Strong Linux knowledge and command-line proficiency. * Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred). * Solid hands-on skills with Terraform and GIT. * Expertise in performance tuning, diagnostics, and monitoring. * Good understanding of web architecture and its interaction with databases. * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly. * Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure.
Nice to Have * Experience with ProxySQL, MySQL Orchestrator. * Familiarity with Debezium, Kafka, or SaltStack. * Exposure to ScyllaDB or Aerospike. * Experience supporting Java-based applications (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Languages * English: Upper-Intermediate (required for documentation and team communication)
